Afgelopen weekend streden in Spaubeek 8 teams vanuit heel Nederland tegen elkaar voor de Nederlandse titel en voor kwalificatie voor de European Champions League 2024.

De spannende finale tussen de Paardestal en de Hakkers eindigde in een gelijkspel, waardoor de winst beslist moest worden in een penalty shoot-out. Met een uitslag van 3-1 in het voordeel van de Paardestal, mogen zij zich het beste team van Nederland noemen .

Het team van Club Foos werd 3e.

Bijna iedereen binnen de Nederlandse (en intussen ook internationale) tafelvoetbalwereld heeft zijn naam wel eens gehoord en weet, dat hij niet gemakkelijk te kloppen is.  Nu weten ze dat in Frankrijk ook!  3 dagen lang een croissantje als ontbijt en dan een paar Fransmannen op hun eigen tafel verslaan.  Dat was het doel en dat is gelukt.  en Hoe!!  3x goud voor onze topper!    Proficiat Horst  en natuurlijk ook herzlichen Glückwunsch voor je dubbelpartner, Hans Wiesen aus unserem Nachbarland.

Dames en Heren,

aangezien de ITSF de aankomende World Series in Frankrijk met nieuwe toernooisoftware  gaat organiseren, werden we door de ITSF gevraagd om asap de Nederlandse spelers, die deel willen nemen (inclusief emailadres) te registreren.  Daarom het verzoek:  ben je van plan naar de WS te gaan?   Meld je dan in de komende dagen, maar uiterlijk voor 12 mei aan via inschrijving@tafelvoetbal.nl

Wat was het weer een gezellig feestje toen afgelopen weekend in Spaubeek 46 koppels uit Nederland, België en Duitsland voor de prijzen streden!  Van 14:00 tot 19:00 6 voorrondes en daarna tot 22:00 de (meestal)  heel spannende KO wedstrijden waarna uiteindelijk Devin Meentz en Kay Jongen van SBZL tafelvoetbalteam de Spechvogels uit Spaubeek met de eerste prijs naar huis gingen.

Een gevarieerd deelnemersveld met o.a. een aantal spelers van de nationale teams van België, Duitsland en Nederland, maar ook spelers, die voor het eerst aan een toernooi deelnamen. En toch voor iedereen genoeg spannende en leuke wedstrijden door de zeer succesvolle toernooi formule het zogenaamde "Zwitsers Systeem",  waarbij ook al tijdens de lotingen in de  voorronden rekening wordt gehouden met de resultaten van de wedstrijden, die men tijdens deze voorronden heeft gespeeld.

Het was weer een groot succes, met name ook door het sportieve, faire gedrag van de spelers en daarom ook een woord van dank aan jullie en hopelijk tot de volgende!

Dames en Heren!

ClubFoos, TBNL en de SBZL zullen dit jaar een groot aantal toernooien organiseren.

Clubfoos in Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Groningen, Haarlem en Utrecht, TBNL in Tilburg en de SBZL in Spaubeek.

Gemiddeld 2 tot 3 toernooien per maand, die niet alleen heel gezellig zijn, maar natuurlijk ook allemaal meetellen voor de jaarlijkse Challenger ranking en dus voor de kwalificatie van de WK in 2025.

Dus...  hou de evenementenkalender in de gaten!
