Table Soccer is now recognized as a sport in Italy !
Thanks to the common efforts of the Italian Olympic Committee, the Italian Federation of Traditional Sport and Games – FIGEST and the table soccer section LICB, the development of our sport is going to take on a whole new dimension in Italy.
The ITSF would like to thanks for their dedication the persons who contributed to formalizing the status of Table Soccer at a national level : Mr Enzo Casadidio - President of Figest Federazione Italiana and ITSF ambassador, Mr Giovanni Malago - President of the CONI Italian Olympic Committee and Nicola Colacicco - Director of the Table Soccer section LICB Lega Italiana Calcio Balilla.
This step is an important driver for the sport, not only for the benefits of the athletes, but also to promote sport for all. This is one of our focus for the next years and the ITSF will keep developing actions in this field starting with the "100 Foosball for Schools'' project.
