ITSF Appeals Commission - Decision

Appeal Commission was held on 11th September 2018 on the case involving Mr Correia, charged of cheating through the use of excessive oil.
After deliberation and in accordance with the ITSF Disciplinary Code:

A formal warning and a probationary period of 6 months during which any further breach of rules on use of lubricants on the part of Mr Correia would results in the immediate disqualification from the tournament. This sentence should be applied by the tournament’s director or any official present that day, without submitted the case to a disciplinary commission.
 
According to Art 2.4 of the ITSF Disciplinary Rules this decision is irrevocable and cannot be subjected to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, as the sentence is lower or equal to 6 months.
